Woke up yesterday morning to some pretty sore legs. Just muscle sore, no big deal. After some stretching they felt fine. This morning they were a little sore, but by the time I started walking all was good.

Felt decent on the run.. was able to keep my pace pretty steady on the way out. Coming back I probably pushed it a little bit, for a while I was breathing pretty heavy. Head wind .5mi out and .25mi back. 80deg and 75% humidity.

Yeah it seems I wake up most mornings with some sort of ache in my leg or foot. Maybe it's just their way of reminding us of what a fun time we had. You know, like a hangover.

Not taking the dogs out on the runs with you?

Haha.. it's kinda weird, my hammies have been sore this time and they never were before. Even when I first started out. I'm hoping that its because of my extra stretching I'm running more smoothly and w/ a different stride. And even more hoping that will equate to better calves!! Of course, I have nothing to base this off of.. and it's just as likely to be the opposite?!

Not yet.. They really dont do all that well in the heat, especially the older one. He can only go about .25mi before he realizes we are just running.. not running after anything fun! And then he quits and turns 48lbs into 500lbs of unmovable dead weight!
